He began photographing the landscape of his native Scandinavia at age 11, when he got his first SLR camera.

Since then, he has traveled widely to many countries on new photographic assignments, frequently adding new images to his archive.

His pictures have been published in numerous international magazines, calendars, catalogs, posters and books.

He is particular known for his images of the European mountain ranges and his many assignments in the national parks and nature reserves around Europe.
